Fixed. But it will only apply for new videos (ones uploaded starting today). I could go through all the previous posts and fix it but it would take time and I don't think it's that big of an issue.>>370
Should be fixed. If it sill appears take a print screen of it and mention what browser you have. >>372> 1) The transition between the threads is not good enough - should be more apparent.
mmm … what? There is no transition between threads. I'm guessing you mean the dividers / separators. I made them darker and more spaced out to make the separation even more clear.

ok. I made them more visible>>374
the theme has nothing to do with it. It's all down to the JS. You can change to the old themes and it will be no difference.
It loads pretty fast for me on FF. I think I might know why chrome has issues but it might not be an easy fix
Anonymous (728e) 377
I don't believe it as there is no reason why it would make a difference It moves exactly the same to me no matter the theme and there's no reason why it would be sluggish (unless you have some ancient pc)
make a comparison:
clear the cache
scroll from top to bottom WITHOUT putting the mouse over any links
change theme and repeat the process

> Admin can you please increase max file size to 10MB. I have high res images that I cant upload.
The file size won't be increased for security reasons and you don't ever need 10mb for an image. We're not making print material here. If your file size is that big you're doing something wrong. Rescale and upload. Batch rescale if there are many,
> Also is it possible to "whitelist IP's" with no flooding restrictions or a multiple upload option? It's a pain in the ass to upload sets at the moment
There's no such options in Tinyboard. A solution would be to make a zip, upload it and ask one of the most to post them.
Another solution would be for you to make a fake FB account and join our group so we can discuss that in private and you'll get a more suitable solution. >>385
> can you experiment with some different skins? the current one works well but there must be some better options
How about you experiment with finding an imageboard that you think looks good? Post the link here and then we can continue the discussion.

Also, GIF's can easily be more then 10mb.
Anonymous (728e) 388
We're not uploading movies either. 5mb is more than enough for a gif
this started as a spinoff from the chloe threads on 4chan. There the file limit is 2mb. Having 5 is more than generous. Stop bitching.
Anonymous (007c) 389
File: 1335504677070.jpg (122.14 KB, 688x530)
4MB is too small, I think 6MB would be more appropriate, especially for GIF's. <br/><br/>Also just so you know the max limit on image dimensions is about 4000 x 4000 px without getting problems.
Anonymous (728e) 390
we are not uploading movie clips - you have video embedding for that - 5mb is more than enough for a gif
we are not uploading print material - 5000x5000 px and 5mb (or even 4) is more than enough for an image

Or maybe I just won't post it like I've been doing all along
>implying you should HAVE to resize Chloe
Anonymous (728e) 392
>implying you should HAVE to resize Chloe
by this logic we can make 20mb gifs and complain why they aren't supported
You don't HAVE to resize just like you don't HAVE to upload it
The current solution covers well over 99.5% of the use cases and that's enough.
I have 5000+ pics in my chloe folder. I doubt more than 4-5 aren't supported here (and in that case I can easily make them fit)
Anonymous (f9d2) 393
By this logic I could compile every image in my folders into a single image and complain that I can't upload it. The problem with this is that it would actually be excessive.
A 6, 7, 8mb gif\image is not excessive.
Anonymous (728e) 394
> A 6, 7, 8mb gif\image is not excessive.
Based on what?
Who's to say then that 9-10 mb is not excessive? If we increase it to that who's to say another one won't come and say 11-12 would be better?
Case and point:
That guy above said 6mb would suffice. Now you come a few posts later asking for 8mb and showing me a print screen with a 7mb file.
I have ~250 pics in my gif folder and they all perfectly fit except one which is 14mb (the kryptonite scene from kick-ass)
If the current solution works for 99.5% of the cases I shouldn't have to worry about the 0.5% especially as no solution is perfect.
Anonymous (f9d2) 395
>>394>I have ~250 pics in my gif folder and they all perfectly fit except one
That's because the popular places to post don't allow larger files.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I just never liked file size limits.
>Who's to say then that 9-10 mb is not excessive? If we increase it to that who's to say another one won't come and say 11-12 would be better?
Take your largest image, double it. Anything past that is excessive.
Anonymous (fdea) 396
so I should take my largest file, double it and name that the image limit? That limit applies to everyone and what's excessive to me or you might not be for the next guy. My largest image is 14. Does that mean the max file size should be set to 30mb?
I don't like image limits either but they're usually there for a reason (such as security or technical limitations).
This place, just like most products or service, should satisfy the vast majority of users.
If enough people will ask for this I might consider increasing the limit to 10000x10000 px and
Anonymous (f9d2) 397
>>396>Does that mean the max file size should be set to 30mb?
In all honesty, this doesn't seem unreasonable to me in the slightest. With what, maybe 10 people who post daily and maybe 20-30 others that might come through once and a while there is no reason to have just a 4mb limit. It's not like its going to be used on every post.
>That limit applies to everyone and what's excessive to me or you might not be for the next guy.
But, my limit doesn't stop them from posting.

1. We already have a place where the chlobros are updated: facebook. If you want to join us make a fake FB account and link it here. The twitter idea is a long shot as not many chlobros seem to use it. I could try it but I'm not sure how well it would work. Not to mention the site shouldn't be down anymore (I doubt we'll be switching servers again)
2. Nigga u iz crazy. Why have an app? We have a site. Having an app that would do the exact thing (more or less) that the site does is redundant and pointless. We could try making a theme for mobiles but that's a different thing
