Mind you, I speak only of nudity or sex scenes where nudity is part of it.
I have nothing against sex scenes that are heavily suggested as in actors fully clothes kissing and falling into the bed or fondling scenes with clothes like we see in the "If I Stay" trailer.
Just so we are clear about my premise.
Again, it has nothing to do with it ruining my image of Chloë, but all about doing something to unnecessary to sell more movies ie selling yourself. It has nothing to do with an actress not wanting to give 100 % to do a role, but all about people like you wanting to see nude celebrities. Why do you think when you type Chloë Moretz in Google that Chloë Moretz Bikini is one of the first helpful search terms?
Your list is good, but still in a quick glance more than half of them I would still say the nudity and sex scene were not needed at all.
I mean, fx A Clockwork Orange. So he is a piece of shit psychopat, but the sex scene was not needed to show that or even improve on that. Also, it could have been shown differently (like the door closing on us as he approached her and then muffled screams behind the door as scene faded out. Same effect, maybe even a better one because the power of your own imagination is better than what we saw.
And so it goes on in most of your list. And you even had a whole day to google movies where sex scenes were needed, which is why you ended up with movies dating back to the early 70's. LOL.
What is it about nudity and sex scenes in movies that you feel so strongly about really helps out the movie, unless we are talking movies like Boogie Nights that evolves around the whole porn enviroment or Blue is the warmest color that evolves around Adeles sexual experiences and finding the right "orientation".
Do you really need to see nudity in most of the last part of your list. All those TV-series. House of Cards, The Wire, The Shield, Mad Men etc. Great shows, but I don't need to see nudity or sweaty sex scenes. They do nothing to me nor to the show.
I, for one, am happy that Chloë herself made it clear that she will not be making 50 sex scenes after she turns 18. Because, that actually shows me she is in the game for the artistic value - not to try and sell the movie with flesh or sex.Text too long
